Dear Evan Hansen-Tony Award Winning Musical

with Zachary L. Gray

Evan Hansen, is a high school senior with a social anxiety disorder who finds himself amid the turmoil that follows a classmate’s death. The musical has received critical acclaim, the lyrics, and the book, have served as a touchstone for discussion about mature storytelling and themes explored in musical theatre.
Zachary and students will discuss the social context through scene and song.

Special talkback guest, Colton Ryan (understudy to Ben Platt in the lead role of Evan Hansen) will join Zachary Gray during the workshop via FaceTime for a once in a lifetime talkback with all who attend. Bring your Dear Evan Hansen questions!
